Sunset Canopy is a mixed media original artwork on canvas in which I've
intuitively drawn on impressions of recent vivid sunsets and reflections about rainforest canopy.
Canopy thoughts were inspired by a fascinating recent Conversation on the ABC with "Meg the Arbournaut". Meg is a scientist who explores the diversity of upper canopies. Sunset Canopy draws together these twin inspirations.
One of my signature whimsical birds nests in the canopy to represent all life up in the trees. The artwork is mixed media (acrylic paints and water soluble pastels) with a matt sealer.
